Description
We take the fertiliser of your choice and blend it with our biochar. The process takes three weeks allowing the nutrients to penetrate the biochar through the cationic exchange capacity mechanism.
When applied to fields, the blend enables a far greater take up of nutrients by plants.
As the biochar is inert, it remains in the ground adding to the organic matter and continues to offer a positive habitat for the microorganisms.
Application Rates
Apply at the same rate as you would a chemical fertiliser.
NB: Please take the same precautions in use as you would any fertiliser. Whilst our Biochar NPK fertiliser arrives with water added, take care to avoid inhaling any dust if present.
Technical Specifications
Biochar is blended with fertiliser blends for three weeks before transporting to your blend of fertiliser. Apply at usual application rates. We recommend you consider applying biochar soil conditioner in addition to poorer parts of fields.
