Description
To make Activated Biochar we first screen out the twigs and leaves before pyrolysing the wood chip to ensure a high carbon content. The biochar is then infused with our special compost tea, made from aerated rain water in which we have cultivated good aerobic microorganisms and mycorrhizal fungi.
As a product it is unique; this compost tea activated biochar provides vital life to replenish your gardens and soils with essential nutrients. Its water retention qualities make it an ideal mix for potted plants and hanging baskets, as well as being suitable for any soil type.
This product should arrive moist and be added topically or mixed in with a trowel or garden fork.
Application Rates
For best results, the recommended ratio is blending 1 part biochar to 10 parts topsoil.
