Mission Statement

Brodie Biomass produces biochar and biochar related agricultural and horticultural products; our mission is to:

• Source all materials from within 20 miles (exceptions and omissions excluded)
• Ensure all materials are responsibly sourced
• Ensure all materials are free of contaminants (e.g. preservatives in wood and wormers and antibiotics in manure)
• Create high quality products activated with local microorganisms (excepting our non activated range).
• So far as is possible, sell to local purchasers

Additionally, our mission is to:

• reduce the usage of industrial fertilisers on land and in gardens through the increased application of our responsibly produced products,
• improve habitats to encourage and support the return of  a diversity of wildlife.
• Sequester carbon back into the land, thereby helping to reduce global warming
